Fresh. Inspiring. Comfortable.
My philosophy is centered on 'Cultivated Clarity'—the belief that a home should be a reflection of history, proportion, and personal narrative. I offer a multidisciplinary approach that bridges the gap between Miami luxury real estate and international art advisory.
Whether sourcing 18th-century European antiques or navigating the acquisition of a historic Coral Gables estate, my expertise is rooted in over two decades of evaluating thousands of items at global auctions and renovating historic properties. I do not just find spaces; I help compose them using a mix of styles, time periods, and textures to create environments that are fresh, inspiring, and comfortable.
I offer á la carte and comprehensive interior decorating services based on my philosophy of mixing styles and time periods to create fresh, inspiring, and comfortable contemporary settings.
I embrace the juxtaposition of contrasting textures, materials, and colors; the past and present, rustic and formal, simple and ornate. I do not discriminate on the basis of age: I have fallen in love with Italian antiquities from the Attic period (500-300 BCE) and I have represented contemporary, living artists.
I would describe my style as collected, with a deep respect for the balance only empty space can provide. I am neither a maximalist nor a minimalist. I appreciate pops of color and especially a bit of whimsy.
While I completed formal studies in art history and interior design, I feel that the strength of my expertise comes from over twenty-five years of working in the industry reviewing thousands of items at fairs, auctions, museums, trade shows, private homes, and estate sales, and renovating historic properties. This practical education with its trials and errors, has resulted in the development of an eye for proportion, quality, and nuance and an understanding of harmony and composition. It also provides context for trends and historical references.
